So -- Evie evidently gets "the munchies" in the middle of the night. The problem is, she is chewing on the side of her crib! I found the evidence yesterday morning when I went in her room to get her. She must be using her two top teeth to bite into the crib rail. Has anyone had any experience with this??
I guess I am worried about her damaging her teeth more than anything else... She more or less just took some of the finish/stain off the wood crib in a tiny area. Now that I think of it, I guess that probably isn't good for her either...

Both of my kids did that. Must be something about being able to bite into the wood that they like.
I didn't have that issue with either girls. I am not sure if it would work, but could you put a chew toy in her crib so if she is teething she can have something "kid" friendly to chew on?
I've heard a lot of kids do that. And I remember reading about a plastic sort of gaurd that you can put on the top of crib rails.
Good luck!
I went to Babies R Us the other day and they have teething protectors for cribs.
