One day while driving along with the kiddos, we passed two women running together on the sidewalk. Evelyn was all excited and yelled, "Look mommy, cool runner girls like you!!" :)

Visit from Grammie

My mom is in town visiting from Michigan -- and the kids are having a ton of fun! They absolutely love playing and reading with their Grammie.
She brought Noah a jacket for his birthday -- a little Carhart jacket advertising my dad's business. Just like the big boys wear!!!

Grammie was also here to witness a big event.... Evelyn's first real haircut. She had long straggly ends... and I have to admit... she had a little bit of a mullet -- so we got her hair evened out a little bit. She was so excited for her first haircut!

Not sure if you noticed, but I added a new ticker to the top... I am going on vacation the end of April with my college girlfriend Liz. I CAN"T WAIT!! I haven't done anything like this since before the kids were born! I mean -- I love Travis, Evelyn & Noah... but this is going to be a TRUE vacation for me :) The countdown is on! The bikini shape-up, too!!

We have the same tangram toy. Evelyn's hair looks so cute! I was actually noticing that in the first picture before you mentioned that she got it cut.

That's awesome that you're going on a cruise! It will be a true vacation.

How fun!!! I am jealous :) Is it Liz H? Where are you going to? I'm sure your family will miss you, but you will be so refreshed when you get back!

And please...like you really need to "shape up" to wear a bikini...skinny minny!

I love her new hair cut - so cute :)

Enjoy the time with your mom! I know how precious these visits are! I wish I would have known you when we lived close to eachother in MI!
