I feel as if I am falling way behind on everything... work, housework, sleep, blogging, etc. So here is my first attempt to catch up :)
It definitely was a muddy adventure. I am trying to be more carefree and less uptight about things lately... and this was a good opportunity for me to work on this skill. But the place was a muddy mess -- and so were the kids. I tried to keep Noah out of the mud at first -- but the terrain was rough, so it was hard to do. At one point, he fell down directly in a huge mud pile... so I laughed and gave up. I ended up taking off his pants and shoes before even putting him back in our car! I think the kids had a good time (and I successfully spot-treated their clothing, washed/vacuumed the inside of the car, and cleaned up their shoes once we got home) Fun adventures can be a lot of WORK!
Tonight we are heading to the zoo for a pumpkin prowl event. Not sure what it will be like -- but it sounded fun -- and the kids will get a chance to wear their costumes...
Tomorrow morning we are running in a 5K race for prostate cancer with some friends (running with our new stroller!). Hopefully I will have more pictures from the weekend to post soon :)

Michelle, pictures are cute-sounds like it was a lot of work but I'm sure it was worth it.
Good luck to you and Travis tomorrow on your run.
You are one busy girl! The pumpkin patch looks like it was fun. I'm sure the kids loved getting muddy, even if you had to clean it all up later. Have fun with your run tomorrow.
I finished my countdown blocks today and made all of my magnets yesterday. All I have left to do is attach the picture hangers to the back of my two boards and add ribbon for the fake hang. How are yours coming?
I wanted to do the pumpkin prowl too, but we decided to wait until Lola was a little older. Probably next year. I hear it is cool!
I am so with you on the mess :( I too am working on it. You just have to let it go sometimes. Easier said than done :)
