One day while driving along with the kiddos, we passed two women running together on the sidewalk. Evelyn was all excited and yelled, "Look mommy, cool runner girls like you!!" :)

Coughing baby :(

Evelyn has been coughing since Friday. She is a little congested, too. It is such a weird time to have a cold though. I mean -- she made it from the end of December until now without getting sick. She made it through cold season... and now that the weather is sunny and 70 degrees, she catches a bug. Ugh!

It doesn't seem to be bothering her too much though. She slept great last night -- from about 8PM until 6AM. I heard her (on the baby monitor) cough a few times in the middle of the night - but she went right back to sleep. I think the cough bothers me more than it bothers her!!

Here is another picture -- I love being able to put her in cute summer clothes! She is my litte "Strawberry Shortcake" girl in this outfit. (that is what it reminds me of) I had a strawberry shortcake sleeping bag when I was little --- I loved it! I might have even had a strawberry shortcake lunch-box, too!! One of those rectangular metal ones... :) Do you remember those??

That is all for now --- I am watching the Pistons game on the edge of my seat... the P-dogs are down by 3 points. They need to stop LeBron James tonight!! I hate one-man teams... That is why I hate the Lakers, too. Grr...

Does Evelyn have allergies? My kids both have bad allergies and have been congested, had runny noses, puffy eyes, etc for the last few weeks.

I'm not sure if they'll give you any meds for seasonal allergies (if that's what it is) at 5 months, but it might be worth asking your doctor about. I know all docs have different opinions, but I had Noah in to a doctor a few months ago that told me that infants can start Claritin at 6 months. I think that I'm going to see about getting Noah started on some when we go in for his 9 month appt next week. At least he might feel a little better.

Too funny, I was just thinking the same thing. G has allergies and hers just started acting up and I've got her on Claritin (only when needed, not an every day thing) and it is really helping.
That outfit is too cute!

Oh Michelle -

I can relate to sick kids. Both my girls have runny noses and a slight cough. It started on Friday and was such a long weekend. We slept hardly at all. The runny nose is getting better now.

I love the last picture of Evie. She is such a ham!! Counting down the days until I see you all.
